Sebastiens Vaillons comes from south east facing 60 year old vines on chalky clay rich in old sea shells which adds to the mineral backbone of the excellent Chablis.
Having worked with his father and brother at Domaine Danieil Dampt, Sébastien set out on his own in 2007. With 7 hectares of vines, a spanking new winery nestling amongst the vines of the two Premier crus of Vaillons and Côte de Léchet and a huge amount of dedication these wines are impressive.
Sebastiens 1er Cru Vaillons comes from south east facing 60 year old vines on chalky clay rich in old sea shells which adds to the mineral backbone of the excellent Chablis. Vibrant and fresh with lovely red apple fruit, a stony mineral core and a nice lemony finish. Some weight here too. This should age beautifully
