The Dethune family have been growers in the Grand cru Village of Ambonnay for nearly 200 years, in their constant drive for perfection it seemed natural to farm sustainably and biodynamically, even the oak for their barrels and cuves are sourced from local forests.
Its this unstinting drive for quality that puts this small house right up there in the pantheon of the best in Champagne.
