Château Moulin de la Rose 2015 Saint-Julien
This tiny property of only 5 hectares is squeezed between Beychevelle and Ducru Beaucaillou
This tiny property of only 5 hectares is squeezed between Beychevelle and Ducru Beaucaillou and has been owned by Jean François Delon’s family since 1971. The subsoils are classic St-Julien deep gravel perfect for Cabernet sauvignon which makes up 65% of the blend, the rest is Merlot the whole about 40 years old. Aging in oak casks 30% new gives fine tannins to the this full flavoured wine, it is starting to drink now but will keep well.
