La Gascogne d'Alain Brumont 2020 Sauvignon Gros Manseng Côtes de Gascogne IGP
Alain Brumont uses 50/50 Sauvignon Blanc and the local Gros Manseng grapes grown in the Gascogne region; fermented in stainless steel
This tasty wine is made by Alain Brumont one of Frances most famous winemakers. Famed for making the finest red and white wines from neighbouring Madiran region, he uses 50/50 Sauvignon Blanc and the local Gros Manseng grapes grown in the Gascogne region; fermented in stainless steel. Fresh floral and zesty, with floral yellow fruits from the Sauvignon and weight and citrus freshness from the Gros Manseng, despite only 12.5% alcohol this has real depth and some weight to it and is delicious.
