Thierry Pillots Bourgogne Pinot Noir comes from 50 year organically farmed old vines from below the village in Chassagne and a site in Santenay.
This important Domaine was founded in 1900 and is now run by 4th generation Thierry Pillot who started working with his father Paul in 1999 before taking over in 2004. Thierry’s Bourgogne Pinot Noir comes from 50 year old vines from below the village in Chassagne and a site in Santenay. He farms organically and ferments using the natural yeasts with 30% whole bunches in old oak casks. Pretty and suave with peppery red fruit aromas with a palate bursting with forest berry fruit mixed with oak spice touches. Drinking now and for a few years further.
